Referralmeter vs Tolt
Tolt is a well-priced affiliate tool with automatic payouts and tax forms. Referralmeter is cheaper per month, installed by your agent, and finds affiliates for you.
The short answer
Pick Tolt if you want payouts sent automatically (PayPal, Wise, bank transfer, wire) and 1099 handling done for you, or you bill through Chargebee. Pick Referralmeter if you want to pay half as much, bill through Polar, Lemon Squeezy, Creem or Dodo, or your real problem is that nobody is selling yet.
What you pay each month
By affiliate revenue per month. Referralmeter is free up to $1,000.
| Affiliate revenue | Tolt | Referralmeter |

Where Tolt is better
- Automatic payouts by PayPal, Wise, bank transfer and wire. We prepare the batch; you send it from your own account.
- W-9/W-8 and 1099 handling, and invoices for affiliates. We collect W-9/W-8 forms; 1099 e-filing is not built yet.
- Chargebee integration and up to five programs on the Growth plan.
Where Referralmeter is different
- $49 against $99 at every level up to $20,000 a month, and $49 against $199 up to $50,000.
- Native Polar, Lemon Squeezy, Creem and Dodo webhooks. Tolt's pricing page lists Stripe, Paddle and Chargebee, with webhooks or the API for anything else.
- Tolt helps you set a program up. Our Recruiting Agent (Growth) goes out and finds the creators who will sell, with the evidence for each.
- Install by coding agent, verified by a live test referral and certificate.
