# Referralmeter

> Affiliate programs for AI apps. A coding agent installs it in one prompt, a live test referral proves it tracks (an install certificate), and commissions are calculated from the billing provider's own signed webhooks: Stripe, Polar, Lemon Squeezy, Paddle, Creem and Dodo Payments, including credits and usage. Flat monthly price, no cut of affiliate revenue. Referralmeter never holds or sends money; merchants pay affiliates from their own PayPal or Wise.

Key facts for integrating:
- Script: `<script src="https://referralmeter.com/t.js" data-key="pk_…" async></script>` in <head> of every public page. Public key pk_ is safe in the browser.
- Browser API: `referralmeter.ref()`, `referralmeter.signup(email, { uid })`, `referralmeter.code()`, `referralmeter.ready()`, `referralmeter.consent()`.
- Checkout: pass `referralmeter.ref()` as metadata `referralmeter_ref` (Stripe Checkout: also `client_reference_id`). Lemon Squeezy: `checkout_data.custom.referralmeter_ref`. Paddle: `customData.referralmeter_ref`.
- Landing-URL params: via, ref, fpr, aff (affiliate code), sf_cid (click id). Cookie: sf_ref.
- Secret keys (sk_…) authenticate the REST API (`https://referralmeter.com/api/v1`) and the MCP server (`https://referralmeter.com/api/mcp`, Streamable HTTP). Amounts are integer cents.
- Verify an install: POST https://referralmeter.com/api/v1/verifications, open the returned testLink, sign up, pay in test mode, poll GET /api/v1/verifications/{id} until status is "passed".
